Choosing one is mostly a question of distance. Pavement scooters run at up to 4mph and manage up to 20 miles on a charge, which handles the shops and a wander round town comfortably. Go for a road scooter and you are looking at up to 8mph and roughly 25 miles per charge. Known as class 3 models, they are heavier built and fitted with lights so they can be used on the road. No road tax applies to a class 3 scooter, though we will always confirm the class of any model before you commit to it.

Buying new is not the only option. We keep reconditioned and used scooters in stock when budget is a factor, and whichever route you take you are welcome to come and try before you buy.
